Only used these once so far but found them simple to shot how i want them & suprised how sensitive they are used with flake, looking forward to using these this winter
Reply From Handmade Fishing Floats by Ian Lewis:
Glad to hear you are enjoying them Ian - that bit of steel in the base really does help with casting and making them extra sensitive.

You never fail to impress as all the others i have had from you they are perfect little works of art. the only problem is the joy of owning them almost exceeds the joy of using them. I think I had better order some more.
Many thanks

Ian, the floats arrived right on time as usual and in mint condition, my planned outing for early this week was a local water known for a good head of Rudd and this being my target fish for the day I was looking forward to fishing on the drop up in the water. Set up the 17ft match rod with centre pin with 4lb line and the middle size self cocking float, float adaptor and 3 no 10's button hole style to 3ft drop. From the off I was picking up roach and Rudd but only small stuff, after continually feeding maggots and caster I started to pick up a better stamp but unfortunately I left my trusty phone and camera. Had well over 100 fish and tired myself out on a truly rewarding day. Well done Ian the floats worked a treat and didn't falter on a non stop session.
